My Badminton Equipments
Here are some of the equipment I use to enhance my badminton gameplay, I am constantly kept up to date with badminton racket and shoe technologies. A good racket choice can really help make a difference during gameplay. While a great pair of shoes not only help cushion your landing impacts but enhance your court coverage and at the same time avoid injuries which are common in the sport. This question always pop up during my online or private coaching session, which racket or shoe are you using and why coach? Here's the answers and where to buy them.
YONEX Astrox 77 ( Shine Yellow )
The Astrox 77 is designed for players that want to overwhelm their opponents with speed and power. The medium flex shaft and head heavy balance help to deliver devastating power and sharp angled smashes.
What I think :
The racket's good weight distribution and NAMD material shaft allows it to flex more during hard swings which translates into more power, and flex less during short swings for more accuracy. Your flat drives will be faster and smashes steeper. Swing transition have improved too because of the rotational generator system that works as a counter weight reversing the motion of the racket head faster which translates into more preparation time for your next shot. Which means you can now transit through swings with greater ease.

I'm currently using the Yonex Astrox 77 badminton racket in Shine Yellow, the latest 2020 released color is Shine Red in Matt finish. The real thing definitely looks more orange than red. Which looks Awesome!

This racket is always Out of Stock Worldwide, so make sure you grap it once it pops up. This racket is great for players who favours fast exchanges, trust me this blade here is Crazy Fast! I'm using the 4UG5 version stringed with Yonex Ultimax with tension 27 lbs. This racket is great for Doubles gameplay only.
